I foster a trustworthy and honest relationship with students that raises strategic thinking and facilitates students' belief in high achievement in mathematics.

I believe that education is the gateway for your imagination to become your reality. Even though a basic level of education is essential to be a productive citizen of our community; education is a personal journey and should be one that is enjoyable and productive. The art of teaching is personal for me.  Knowing that you have made life better with knowledge is one of my objectives in teaching, as well as opening students' eyes to their potential.

Being a high school teacher for thirty years has allowed me to see my art of teaching come to fruition and change my philosophy to the students of the time. My standards are high and my expectations are even higher.  Seeing students achieve their goals lets me know I have achieved my job.
